The Golf Buddy World Platinum is a slick, sleek product that has lots of promise. The massive screen display was straightforward to read, even in bright sunlight.
My disappointment was in the form of technical service response (I left two messages in mid-Aug and have but to obtain a reply) and the actual number of courses with full hole layouts. The advertisements claim thousands of courses, my knowledge did not bear that out.
My house course in Maryland was not a complete hole layout so I had an expensive GPS that only gave me the functions of a substantially much less high priced GPS. Really couple of of the courses nearby had been complete hole and most of the Hilton Head Island courses were also not the full hole layout.
I returned the Golf Buddy and purchased a Garmin Strategy G3. Not pretty as sleek as the Golf Buddy BUT all the courses loaded are full hole layouts.
