This is a terrific unit for the cost. It does what it says it will do. There are lots of golf courses out there for the 34 buck fee from igolf and you can download 100 in a year. I only located a single yardage off on one particular hole of the courses exactly where I have implemented it.
I mapped distances to hazards on many different holes on my household course and it operates great.
I played with a buddy lately who had a golf guru and 1 who had a golf buddy gps. They are neat with a lot alot more functions then this one particular, but then they cost more than twice as significantly. Their yardages matched mine on the bushnell neo. I am fairly happy and I got it for about $129 from a partner of Amazon OpticsPlanet.
The only reason I did not give this a five star rating is that the manual was not nicely written and the computer software instructions had been incomplete. But, this should certainly not be a deterrent to buying a single.

This GPS offers the best amount of specifics for the daily golfer, and even for a great deal more advanced players. It is painless to use and set up. I really like the reality that I can dowload up to 100 courses, and I don't have to renew my membership every year unless I want a several course. A single of the issues I honestly like, is that you can see how far you truly hit the ball (I'm sure all GPS systems are like that...but NOT rangefinders!) One final note...I am not the type of person that likes having some thing clipped to my belt, like a cell telephone. In spite of this, this is how i carry this GPS, and I can't even tell its there. It's so slim and light, you dont even notice it till you need it. Superb item, at half the cost of a lot of GPS systems or even rangefinders.
